Herne Bay Community Counselling (previously Herne Bay Counselling) has been providing affordable, professional counselling to the people of Herne Bay and the surrounding area for over a decade.
Our mission
Herne Bay Community Counselling exists to make professional counselling accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of their financial situation. We believe that cost should never be a barrier to getting the support you need.

Our team of counsellors bring a wide range of experience and therapeutic approaches. All are either fully qualified to at least diploma level, or are in the final year of their training, and are members of a recognised professional body such as the BACP or UKCP.

Each of our counsellors has been carefully selected for their skills, warmth, and commitment to ethical practice. They work with a range of approaches — including person-centred, integrative, and CBT — and are matched to clients based on need and availability.

All counsellors working with Herne Bay Community Counselling are either fully qualified or in the final year of their training, and are members of a recognised professional body. They adhere to its code of ethics and practice, and are committed to ongoing supervision, continuing professional development, and the highest standards of client care.
